Happy Easter!

As expected, it was a busy Easter weekend...  we had the annual Anderson Egg Hunt yesterday with over a dozen kids here.  Then Syd & I went up to Oak Glen to test the afternoon light at a friend's ranch for next weekend's mini sessions for Photos For Katie.  Today we went to church and finally enjoyed the colored Easter eggs we made the other day.  Here are a few pictures from this weekend....

Big Girls

Yesterday was one of those great days you wish could never end.  My friend Brandy threw a *surprise* baby shower for me.  Later that evening, we went to dinner at a local new burger joint.  I seem to always carry my camera with me now.  And I knew I would want to capture some pics of Syd, Mel & Kennedy.  Here are these 3 big girls...

 

 

Easter, Church & Best Friends

Today was a great day... Easter! Easter baskets full of treats (Mel especially loves her new matchbox cars & Syd loves her parachuting bunny)! Church! And fun with our best friends... the Hylkemas and the Graves Families.  The girls are so fond of their friends... and the pictures capture this love.

 

 

 

 

 

Apple Picking

Just as I am getting ready to post this, the weather has warmed up into the 80's. We had Fall last week, cool crisp weather, and apple picking at Riley's Farm...

The Start of Fall

Well, maybe it is still a couple weeks in the coming, but the anticipation of Fall started with some cooler weather. So we (Jodie and I) took the kids (S, M, N, E) up to Lake Arrowhead for some morning fun. The kids fed the ducks, went on the swings, rode a train, ate lunch at Woody's (outdoors until the bees drove us inside), and took a lot of pictures. Then we headed home with some chocolate chip cookies to enjoy in the car (thanks Jodie). Here are some of the pics from yesterday....
