{The H Family ... Waiting for Josiah} Maternity & Family Portraits

The day is getting closer when my dear friend Jodie will be able to hold her third baby in her arms.  But these last couple months of her pregnancy, she and her sweet family have been incredibly busy, and doing a lot of camping!  So for her maternity pictures, we thought it would be fun to capture them doing just that.... camping!  And we caught her indulging in one of her cravings, and just enjoying the laughter and tenderness of her children and husband.

I can't wait to hold this little boy... and Josiah, you will have to get used to seeing me with a camera in my face!

{Meet Baby Garrett} Newborn Portraits

I was lucky to meet Kelly and her very photogenic son, Garrett, in my home a couple weeks ago.  She had contacted me to take his newborn pictures and I was so excited to have another new baby boy to "shush" to sleep and then "click away" to my hearts content.  Well, all that happened once he drank, and drank, and drank some more.  I could not believe how much he drank!  But good for him, because now he is getting so big and strong!  Here are a few of his pictures...

{Sweet Levi} Newborn Portraits

Meet Baby Levi.

Sweet, for sure!

But also a hungry baby boy!

Anytime we (mom & I) would place him for pictures, he started rooting.  He had many feeding breaks, and even a second photo session to accommodate his appetite.  But what all these pictures show is a calm, sleepy baby boy.  And from the sounds of it, he is already blessing his mom with some good sleep habits at home.  So if he wasn't too sleepy for me, that's ok.

Mom "trumps" the photographer, any day!

{Kennedy's 6 month photoshoot} Child & Family Portraits

Today my goal was to post the pictures of K's latest photoshoot.... but I was a little bit delayed since I had the surprise pleasure of baby-sitting this beauty. I am not sure why she seems SO MUCH easier than my own 2 girls were. She never fussed, she always smiled, she cooed, she made us laugh, and she took a splendid 2 hour nap! Now she is back with her daddy and I can adore her pictures...
