It was that time again.... time for Syd's second hair cut and time for Mel's first hair cut (and then a chance for me to get a haircut!). We went to Rumors Salon in Lake Arrowhead Village to see our favorite hair stylist, Mrs. Metzger.
Mrs. Metzger did Syd's first hair cut, which was an event filled with tears. This time, Syd was more prepared and excited, and even wanted to "go first." She started by getting her hair washed, on a booster seat.
Then the hair cutting began.
Syd even did well getting her hair blow-dried (for the first time ever). Meanwhile, Mel was having fun twirling herself or daddy on a salon chair.
When it was her turn, Mel was a bit more resistant and echoing "no" quite a but. But, almost anything is possible if she can sit on daddy's lap and play with her toy cars...
And in the end, I had both pretty girls with hair cuts, and a fantastic reminder of how God has created each of them uniquely...
Thank you, Jane, for being the only one the girls can trust to cut their hair. We had so much fun and the girls adore you!
